If the batt's not holding a charge, then you've gotta replace the igniter. I'd check into getting a glo igniter that uses either a D-Cell battery or AA's. I use one that requires the D-Cell, made by Ofna, it is a good igniter and I just replace the batt when it's dead, one batt normally lasts a weekend. My Bro-in-law uses one that has AA's. He has more issues out of it than I have out of mine. Just make sure you get decent Alkaline batteries for them, not regular or heavy duty batts as they don't last anywhere near as long. The batts don't have to be expensive Duracells or Energizers, just alkaline.
