Problem you may have is you are buying your fuel by the quart (I know this from another thread you wrote) so you may have to buy a gallon size fuel can to use the fuel can fitting. I do not know if the fittings will properly install onto a quart bottle.

Even if you can use the fittings on a quart bottle how are you going to keep the bottle from falling over in your field box? The fuel compartments are made to hold gallon jugs.
