the wrist pin floats in the small end of the conrod...it also floats in the piston...you probably have a build-up of gunk under the piston and on the wrist pin...after removing any wrist pin retainers, if any, you should be able to tap out the wrist pin with a suitably-sized center-punch, or something similar (like a 3mm ball driver.)...hope that helps...ken
