Jay, there are reports of the Sanyo AA cells not supplying enough current for larger planes. Also they can be easily damaged from charging at too high of a rate..or too long. Go with a higher discharge cell like I recommended above (4/5A for receiver, 2/3A for ignition). What size is this aircraft? The AA have their limitations as far as discharge current.
