gi1mo2- I think you need to be firm with your hobby store manager. I had the same thing happen to me (my problem was a non-functioning gryo, right out of the box) and the hobby store did not want to take the CPP2 back. I called Horizon and they at first said I should return it to my hobby store. I explained I had tried that. So Horizon sent me a gyro. But the more I thought about it, the madder I got, so I hauled the CPP2 back to the store and very nicely tried to negotiate with them. It was at the point when I said I was just going to leave the heli on the counter and pulled out my cell phone to call my Credit Card Co to have them reject the payment to the hobby store when the manager got very interested in helping me with my problem. They have treated me like a king ever since. Just don't lose your cool and get all psycho on them! LOL
Sidebar- it took trying out 3 CPP2s in the store before I could find one that did not have a problem. But in the end, I got a good one and have enjoyed learning how to hover, rebuild, hover, rebuild, etc, etc....
