Default RE: Using dual channels for ailerons/elevators

I can't believe you haven't gotten more responses by now.

I don't have a JR radio but I have used Futaba and Airtronics, so I would guess that the dual ailerons will be setup using a feature called 'flaperon' or something like that. You will use the regular aileron channel for one side, and maybe channel 6 for the other. For dual elevators, I doubt you have that specific feature in a 6ch radio. If you don't, it would be done by using one of your mixes and slaving your empty channel to your elevator. Hopefully you have a centering option on that channel as well as end point adjustments, and these are how you get the two servos 'synched' together.

Of course there is the option of using a Y-harness, but if you can do it with the radio you're much better off.

I tried finding a manual for your radio online without success. I would suggest looking at the instructions for the Spektrum DX6i as Spektrum is made by JR. Chances are the aileron channels will be the same, etc.

Good luck, I hope this helps.
