RE: Modifying the RCMK ... Now up
We were out for 2 3 hours sunday ONLY running the RCMK powered rigger ... Under mod zenoah power it did best with 2716-20* or 3014 cupped up running 16,800 to 17,200 , any more prop than that engine just sagged away up top.
The modified RCMK in the same boat, Same pipe & length .. JUST a motor swap spun the 2716 & 3014 effortlessly at @ 18,300 to 18,600, it would pull a 2818 & 3016 cupped up darn near as well tho a tad slow getting up on step. So ... Yea, it does have more power every where, quite frankly it is a freekin animal !!
