The UPS man brought my father's day present yesterday, a new Irvine .53. Now with TiggerinVa's help, I figured out what those little black parts on the screw were. The carb is nicely installed (I hope), now to the questions. The only fuel I have is Wildcat Premium 10%, with 16% Syn/Castor oil mix. The instructions suggest FAI or 5% Nitro fuel. Should I get some new stuff for this engine, or can I just add enough castor oil to bring it up to the right mix? What prop should I use, I have 10", 11" and 12'ers to choose from? There was a black glow plug in the box with an Idle bar, should I just use that one or get and OS 8 when I get the new fuel? I also have a new Magnum .52XLS ready for break in, I guess I can just use the same stuff for it also, except I'll use my 10% fuel for it.
