to answer your question about the kill switch....No that is not what I had in mind.....you can google some of the large scale hobby shops....Like Don's in Salina KS or Dawg House, or Valley View.....You're going to find that with large scale airplanes Tower is lacking.....
An optic Kill switch will not have a direct electrical connection from the ignition to the aircraft's system it will use a short stretch of fiber optics.....and will kill the engine in case of a power failure......
Call Don's or you lucky dog drive over to Salina and see these folks...all the hobby shops I told you about will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have..and all are very nice people
