Are you running way rich? Sounds to me like you're using a way way too rich setting on your needles.

He meant for you to check the exhaust gasket that goes between the block and header I think. That can go bad and cause an air/fuel leak. Also, sounds to me like it might be time to take that engine out and seal it all up.
