Well i ordered the direct drive setup and i also ordered the steel spur gear. I figure as long as i stick to the direct drive i should be fine. My only problem would be to find a replacement spur incase i strip the one on the direct drive. I also intend to keep the old tranny with a steel spur gear on it so that if i DO strip the direct drive, Ill still be able to drive the truck until i get the new direct gear.
