Are you buying the ready to run truck, if so, enjoy! It is a very nice ride. Do not fall for the aluminum control arms, gas tank guards, aluminum bulkheads.. etc... the stock plastic stuff is much tougher than you would expect. I would recommend a switch to the hump battery over the four AA batteries in the radio box. The new three speed is a nice addition, but the 4.6 RTR is the fastest nitro Savage to date. It comes with a plastic exhaust pipe that works pretty good, an 053 pipe will wake the engine up a little more. As time goes by, your throttle servo will prove to be too weak, buy a nice fast servo for that and when the steering servo dies, pickup a SF-5 off of Ebay for more steering power. The SF-5 servos are nice and they are cheap... I think you will be surprised at what the truck can take. Glen
The only thing I would add would be add a failsafe if you plan to use the RTR radio system. It's cheap insurance and often overlooked. Maybe you already have an upgraded multi-model radio system that you can use if you have a spare receiver.

Enjoy!
