more progress...was slowed down a little due to the quality of the sheeting included with the kit..so far i would give the laser cutting of the parts a B+ but the sheeting and some of the wood sticks get a "D". the 3/32 sheeting for the tail is very rough. had to true all the edges for edge gluing and most of the sheeting is not of uniform thickness..so spent a good amount of time truing all this up...and some of the stock for the horiz trailing edge and elev leading is warped so bad its not useable in those areas.
in the pics got the horiz sheeted and the scale hinges installed.due to keeping the tail as light as possible the hinge pin in the pics is 1/8 carbon fiber rod. so much more lighter than a steel pin.the first major mod is going to be sheeted elevs instead of open structure.
