That is a nice bird, have one YS 63 powered. Yes, keep it light as you reasonably can, they do tend to end up on the heavy side. I would go to AXI or hacker and pick a motor rated at least 200 watts per pound of airframe all up estimated finished weight. The AXI and Hacker numbers are reasonably close to reality. Have some bargin motor that work ok, just do not put out the claimed power, some less than 1/2. I would go to a 4 cell 30C battery for ease of location. Installing 2 cells on one side and three on the other may lead to problems. There is not much room on this bird between motor and leading edge of the wing, keep things ballanced as well as you can, will give you great elevators. Love to do elevators to a landing, but airframe must be light. ENJOY
