I'm going through the same exact problem on my brand new bme 50 and I am sure it is the carb also. I have someone looking at it now and they told me they think the problem is under the welch plug. We will see tomorrow when I pick it up. It's a shame the carbs have to have debri in them from the factory but that's the way it goes.
