Being Sanctioned by the AMA means nothing at all.. Rogue is a misnomer, the proper term should be non-AMA field. Wrong has NOTHING to do with it. They are simply not insured by the AMA. As is the case in most incidents involving RC planes, including those "insured by the AMA".....AMA is a last-resort insurance and does not come into play until your household and other insurances are exhausted.

DO NOT call other-than-AMA fields "WRONG" in front of me again, or I'll be supplying an earfull of education. I am a current AMA member, paid right now through 2011. That is so I can go and fly at AMA fields with friends there. No other reason.

ANYBODY is entitled to go and fly on private property. We ALL take our chances out there, and that little AMA card makes little difference. Just like any insurance company, if they can find a way to squirm out of paying, they use it to their full advantage. Not to mention that their Magazine leaves MUCH to be desired. Talk about WRONG!!!
