I've got my Big Stick together and I am pretty nose heavy. I have everything moved back as far as possible so it looks like I am going to have to add some weight to the tail end. Did any of you experience this? If so where and how did you add the weight?
On my Big Stick .60 I initially had to add 10 oz of weight to the tail to get the balance right.
After I determined this, I decided to make any extra weight useful.
So I removed the tail weight and added a 3800mAh NiMH 6v battery pack to replace the one I had, stuffed as far back into the fuselage as I could get it.
This still left the C.G. about .7" forward of where it should be, but the plane flies fine this way.
So either remove weight from the nose, or move something as far back as possible....
I used a long servo extension to bring the power up to the receiver.
