Just to keep things in perspective - as relates to carb problems on engines. I bought a zenoah g26 which i never could get to run. sent it back for service and they sent me a new Walbro carb, which fixed the problem- it now starts and runs fine. so no matter which engine you get you can get a problem carb.
for that matter, I bought a Walbro wt499 and an adaptor and mounted the wt499 on a super tiger 2300. the 2300 runs great on glow fuel with this carb.
this is another option to get a carb that has the pump built in on a great glow engine.

Are you running the ST 2300 with a Glow plug or is it spark ignition? My guess it may run good with both types of ignition....using the Walbro wt 499 carb. I also read a 4 cycle glow plug works very well in big Tigers! Capt,n
