I have an interesting question. I just completed my Matrix FRE Pro build. I love it and it Came out beautiful and I will be posting some pictures soon. Here is one thing I have always wondered about CEN Matrix vehicles and I have 4 (2 Buggy', 2 Truggy!)
ANYWAYS... I like to use dynamite or Racers edge aluminum steering arms. Loghtweight, strong, no flex, instant response. I am using an ACE DS1015 servo for steering. I am also using the Spektrum DX3.0 radio system. I have the end points maxed out both left and right. MY Problem is that with the end points maxxed as such I still can not achieve max steering throw. On my Arena Truggy I actually went back to a plastic stock HITEC arm that was longer and THAT provided me max steering throw. SO do any of you know how to get the max steering throw on the Matrix vehicles with a high performance steering arm. Are there any longer aluminum steering arms out there that might work better? OR any other solution to get max steering throw? I have the ackerman set to whatever the stock setting said to set it at. I dont really understand the ackerman thing anyways....
