on the fuel regulator cover on the carburetor, the one with 4 screws, there's a little hole that gives it a atmospheric reference, if this gets the turbulence that it looks like yours could get some engines have issues in the air. What you can do to help is to solder a brass tube to the hole and put a tube on it and route it inside the fuse, that should help your issue
