Propwash and hogwash are both strange words and both often,misunderstood I love datum line tho</p>

To me it's the base referrence line -from which lines/ angles/ /forces are noted or figured</p>

One of our largest airliners had the cruise angle for the fuseselage carefully figgered and the interior floor of the passenger cabin was also carefully calculated so that at cruise - the floor would be -level</p>

Made pushing the service carts easier</p>

only problem was, the calculations were not right.</p>

Not a big deal?</p>

ask the cabin attendants.</p>
