I also can't say how much faster it is than a 4.6, as I've never driven a 4.6. However, I knowthe 8.0goes about 45 mph out of the box. The biggest difference between the 8.0 and ALL other MT's is the torque that the 8.0 puts out. It's actually kind of difficult to drive at first, because of the wheelying and mass amounts of power, but once you get used to it after a couple of tanks it's great! It handles decent enough that I can run it on my 1/10th scale track, just not at full blast.

At first I wished the 8.0 had the 4 larger shocks like the LSTinstead of 8, but now I'd rather have my 8 shocks over 4. You can really fine tune the suspension and handling with the 8 shocks, because you can change spring rates and oil viscositys on each shock in the corner to make it handle rough terrain and big jumps perfectly. When I first boughtthe 8.0it liked to roll over a lot in the turns, but now it almost never rolls over, and if it tries I can save it before it does. However,I can still jump it 20 feet high and 60 feet long, land, and drive away with no problems. The other MT's are great too, but the MGT is definitely my favorite.
