PST 600R Step Fail
Hi,
This is John Judice. I am having trouble with my PST 600R. I flew my plane for 8 minutes and landed. Everything was working fine. About 20 minutes after shut down, I refueled and attempted to start the turbine. The turbine ramped up to 27000 to 30000 rpm and would not ramp any further. The temperature rose to 750 and shutdown do to "step fail". Nothing changed from when I flew to when I tried to restart. Today I checked all filters and they where free of debris. The ecu battery was fully charged. I checked the fuel pump by priming it and also disconnecting it to see if it was working during the start. It was. Glow plug is good. Starting ramp is at 65. I reset the ecu with the TEMS to factory default settings. I also made sure I had plenty of propane and that the pressure was not to high. I am still experiencing the same problem. So this is where I need you expert advise, please. This engine was just at your shop for repair of crash damage. What should I try next ? During the hung start, flame was poping out the back of the engine. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
John Judice
