You actually have lots of options these days, including brushless. With just one brushless conversion, you won't have to buy fuel, glow plugs, or any of the other ancillary nitro stuff on a regular basis. You buy the setup once, maybe a new battery every year or two. Then, when everyone else is tuning, adjusting, playing with clutches, etc... you throw your battery on charge, and chill out. When it comes time to hit the track, you'll have the fastest car BY FAR and the least amount of head aches.
