So far, no response from Great Planes Electrifly on the length of the leads from the ESC to the motor. I did find this statement in the ESC manual:
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="color: black; font-size: 10pt">“If the wires are not long enough to make all necessary</span></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="color: black; font-size: 10pt">connections to the ESC yet achieve good balance in the</span></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="color: black; font-size: 10pt">aircraft, it’s best to extend the length of the wires to the motor</span></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="color: black; font-size: 10pt">(not to the battery).”</span></div>
