Anybody have any experience with these? We're building one and almost complete. Built it per the manual but I'm a little concerned about how much play there is in the linkages. Iguess I shouldn't say "play" so much as "stretch". This thing uses nyrod for linkages which I'm not too crazy about to start with, but even though the connections are tight with no slop, there is a good bit of deflection due to the bends necessary in the control rodsat the ends of the nyrod.
Also any experience with flight charistics and overall satisfaction with the model in general I'd love to hear.</p>
If you built it per the instructions, the amount of flex is there on purpose. Flex is what saves the plane on impact and that goes for the controls also. This isn't a high speed plane, so there is no need to make the controls rigid and invite breakage. Try it and see.
