I had the 45" Extra and I flew the heck out of it. I learned basic 3D with it last year. I must have flown it over a hundred times for sure. I also have the 47" Yak, did only 3 flights with it, but it's awesome, too. I have it at my parents house in my home country for my rare visits there. Since the new 48" is a new generation of planes (fiber glass re-enforced, no hinge gaps, airfoiled elevator and rudder), I'd expect it to be even more awesome to fly.
