RE: Can I mix Elevator and throttle?
I just added two washers to add some downthrust to the motor.
I'll fly it in the am and see what happens.
I'm just trying to figure out how to do a mix on the DX7. ( I'm setting up all my planes now)
The 1st thing that come to mind for me is to add down elevator to throttle on my EasyGlider.
(nothing else I would need a mix on now.)
The EasyGlider Flys with the motor off most of the flight. It flys great.
With the brushless multiplex motor it climbs to altitude in no time BUT the more power, the more down elevator I have to hold.
I've been told this is partly due to the wing design of a glider?? Its not going to fly fast well.
Ihad to cut the nose off and make a new plyfirewall to mount the motor so I'm sure my thrustline is off. so maybe the washers will help.
Seems like a throttle mixed with down elevator would work in this situation.?
The throttle is usually off so it will only come into play when I'm climbing to altitude.
Iknow it sounds backward, adding down to go up but thats what I have to do anyway to keep from doing a loop.
Which gets me back to my thrust line....
