The problem with new radio's is that they are range checking in paces instead of feet.  A pace is usually about 1 yard or 3 feet so figure 30 paces to be about 100 feet.  </p>

Yes the 6200 is advertised as being a full range receiver and should range check the full amount.  One thing you may need to check though, the Spektrum radios seem to lock onto one or two channels and never change.  See if you can get the radio to lock on to a different channel and get a better range check, but it sounds like time to pack it up and send it in for service.</p>
