Good comments on YEL's SSE. It is the sharpest looking sport plane that I've seen which convinced me to get the SSE kit and build it with the same cowl. I'm really grateful for YEL's advice on how to build it, it was the key to success for the cowl. It's taken me forever to build ( work and other projects at home) but it has been a hoot. I haven't built one in over 28 years. I mounted a Saito FA 65 head down to give the cowl the same look on both sides. I've been flying this same engine on an old Kavalier inverted for the last year. Maybe I'll finish it sometime this century and post some pics. BTW is it me or is Monokote really difficult to deal with?
