Finally got a call back from Horizon.
We talked, they suspect the modulation board or a problem with the antenna.
Pack it up and send it in and they will take a look.
I explained that my DX6i is currently in their hands waiting for repair, that was why I bought the DX7.
He moved my DX6i up to the top of the pile so I might get it back next week?
I asked about returning everything to the LHS and Horizon said the warranty was through them so they had to deal with it.

Called the hobby shop to see what they could do. He said he would call horizon.

LHS finally called back, he has a DX7 coming in tomorrow and he will swap out the TX for me and he will deal with Horizon.

What do you think the chances are that they dont return it, put it back on the shelf and maybe the next guy wont do a range check?
( I dont really think He'd do this )

No way was I going to return it for service. It would have gone back to the LHS and I would have disputed the Credit card bill....
