Hi,

I am new to RC tanki building and am at the stage on a Tamiya Tiger 1 build when I need to program the DMD. I have Acoms ap-401 radio gear.

The problem I'm having is that I cannot get the DMD unit toregister the throttle(steer,machine gun,turret are all ok).

I had a nightmare fitting the DMD connectors into the reciever and had to cut the connector tabs from the connectors to fit them into the reciever. When i did the throttle one some plastic came away exposing some of the metal where it connects. Could this be the cause and if it is would I need to get a new DMD unit!

I have tried resetting the dmd unit and re-doing the settings, swapping the channels with no success.

Also how do you remove the communication cable as it seems to be lodged in pretty tight!

Any help would beappreciated as I'm gutted I can't proceedwith the build!
