Default Bipe CG Balancer? Help

Hello,

What Bipe CG balancer is on the market and not a fortune?

I bought a used Accel Hobby Pitts S2C 40 ARF, and it is already put together with motor and the seller tells me it is ready to fly, but, I want to verify the CG. But the cheap manual only states, that "the CG is loacted at the leadging edge of the lower wing."

What the heck, it does not state, 0" or 1/2" or so many MM's from leading edge of bottom wing, so I am real confused and upset???

My Great Planes CG machine only goes to a min of 5/8 from the leading edge of any wing.... So this has me real frustated and angry at yet another chessy &

lousy manual....

Has anyone balanced one of these before?

This is my first Bipe, and I tried or think I tried to balance, not sure....?
So tell me, my CG machine hits the bench if I try to get it to rest under the top wings at the middle of the front posts???

So I tried to check the current balance from the person I bought it from, and using my CG machine on the bottom wing, it seems to balance at 45mm behind the leading edge of the bottom wing.... is this a correct way to balance???

I read all the 4 pages in the link the floowing link, but he didn't give the CG point, bummer. And he switched engines in and out a few times from 2 stroke to 4 stroke, so I wonder how he balanced it ? move battery to rear somehow with a custom hole somewhere???

I was wanting to fly it today, but afraid too until I balance it???

Thanks so much
Louis
