wiring setup for servos/receiver.
Hello,
After 5 years of being out of the hobby for various reasons (Moving interstate with my family so my wife and I could divorce and then all the messiness that goes with that) Im finally at a stage where I can give it another go. I dusted off my old Hitech 4 channel radio and have it on charge at the moment along with my receiver battery pack. I have a feeling my receiver may have suffered water damage during a storm when my garage leaked so I want to test it.
I have all these cables and connectors but for the life of me I cannot remember how it all goes.
The switch I have has two wires on one side, one has a female plug which connects to the battery but the other is a male and I have no idea where its supposed to connect too.
On the other side of the switch the lead runs to a plug which then goes to a heatshrinked splitter type setup that branches off to the voltage check light and also I assume the other end goes straight into the servo.
Can someone pleae confirm this for me?
Also my battery pack is 4.8v 600mAh. Im assuming these days there is something better than that available. What exactly should I be buying? TIA
