Default RE: 2.4Ghz - Is it really ready for Hobby use ?

One thing that the 2.4 equipment is not immune to is static feedback. My T-rex 250 had a violent tail twitch and a rythmic pulse in the pitch control. All caused by static buildup in the boom. It would build up and discharge back through the gyro or the tail servo after building up for about 30 seconds. Not exactly the same environment as a jet but still possible. So some of these crashes and lockouts and unexplained issues may be static related. Lots of static build up with fast moving fuel through the lines. Maybe even just the air moving through the fuse, but shouldn't be a problem in humid areas.
