Default RE: new nitro user

I'm not totally sure on the quality of that buggy right off hand. I started with Himoto Mamba which I still have and use. I've had great luck with the rc personally and it only cost me 200 bucks. The standard vx engine has been trouble free and still runs like a top even after 4 gallons of nitro has gone through it. I've since picked up a HPI Firestorm like the one in the above links. I totally love the storm and would have another in a second. I find it harder to start than the Himoto but once its going itsa beast.

One thing you might want to keep in mind is, How far do you have to go to get parts? If you get an entry level rc you might have more down time when stuff breaks depending on what you have to do to get parts. Not alot of Hobby shops stock entry level rc parts...............now ever some do. There are no Himoto dealers in New Brunswick (atleast that I have found) so I rely on himotoracingusa.com for my part. Luckly he is a fast and reliable dealer.

So what I'm trying to say is you don't have to spend lots of money to have fun.
