I saw one of these intentionally flown to failure this past weekend. It took several high-speeds passes, but eventually the tail surfaces parted company with the fuse and the rest is history. During the initial passes, both wing panels fluttered violently. I thought for sure they would explode, but they held up fine. It was very entertaining, to say the least.
