i recived a exceed blue ray heli yesterday from nitro planes and powered it up and trimed it out ,i haveflown helis for the last 12 years so i consider myself to be a compenet flyer .i purchased this heli for some one that used to fly and his mode of flying is his throttle stick is reversed to me ,so i down- loaded the software and pluged in the tranismitter and switched on the heli .the heli was sitting on a desk next to the computer i then started to reprograme the tranismitter to his flying style ,i was in the reverse window and i changed a few channelsjust to get a feel of how the programe worked,i had the throttle switch on so that we could watch the movements on screen with out the heli motor turning ,as i clicked on the rudder channel 4, and i think i may have clicked on channel 3 by mistake because when i clicked ok on the computer the heli motor gave a slight jolt, i then i sawsmoke coming out ofmotor, so i quickly pulled the deans plug apart ,butthe damaged had already been done and the motor is dead
i am surprised that just by reversing a channel, even if i reversed the wrong one could have resulted in a complete motor burn failuremy consern is that i do not know what went wrong and i did not first save the original settings before i started ,i am reluctent to just plug in another motor what should i do
where can i get the default settings on the reverse channel set up that it had when i first flew the heli ,as this is where i was at the time of the failure
