No, but a guy at my club has a Hoffman motor in an Electrifly L-39 w 4S and it went like hell. He claimed over 100 +MPH, close to 125 if I remember right.
I also think that it's not the Beast motor but the one for 60mm fans.
hooker53, I'm planning on starting with the 3S and getting a couple 4S down the road. I just picked up the servos for it. And after thinking I had a motor, turns out the motor has a 3.1 mm shaft and the E-flite fan adapter has a 4mm hole in it. So guess I'll need to pick up a new motor too. You're also right in saying that it's really nice ARF, hey even my wife said that it looks very nice. She doesn't go for the German camo that I usually do.
