Default RE: Final Decision

Spence-

YS 63 for Bronze and you will be just fine. If you are looking to step up to silver at a later date than a YS 110 would give you the room to grow. A majority of the silver pilots are running WM P-51's with YS110's and doing just fine without major modifications. Course management and prop/fuel can control the motorto keep you above break out times. If you need design help on the airframe let me know and I can show you the suggested modifications to be madefor either of theabove enginechoices. If you are looking to keep costs downI've got a couple of used 110fz's in my shop. I'm local andif you would like to see one run before buying I couldmakeyou a deal on one of the two.

Another thought would be to look at the WMDagoRed or Voodoo. The fuse is a little bigger and would bea hair slower, but still perform finein either class. Our next race is August 2nd, try to come out thenor make it by the field for ourOUTLAWrace 3rd Sunday of every month at noon and introduce yourself.
