2. My plane was built basically stock and seems very solid. The big Saito does vibrate and I have found you can save a lot of re tightening grief if you locktite all permanent bolts. PS: I have never had a wing strut or ca bane come loose and I don't locktite them.
I am putting the Dur-bro engine mount on this plane.
To help with vibration. And yes locktite them as well.
3. those DP clevis and horns look cheap
I also got some 4-40 push-rods for the ail. hookups, with metal clevis's (again, my preference)
This I agree on, I am helping someone on his plane now. I do not like the clevis at all. There nice in the sense of the color matching . But just look and feel cheep.
Do yourself a favor and get the Patrick tailwheel-fits this plane to a tee and looks cool too.-(I got the chrome one),
