Default RE: The blue fuel is no good..

IHATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATE Blue Thunder!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been able to, or seen anyone else, get an engine to run properly and hold a tune on Blue Thunder. I'm not a big fan of Top Fuel either, but I'll run that anyday over Blue Thunder!!! I would say the guy you were talking too that told you to stay away from blue fuels was absolutely correct. I've never had a good experience with a fuel that's blue in color. I never really thought that the color made a difference, but maybe it does. I like running Nitrotane Race(it's clear)personally. Everything I run is run on 30% Nitrotane Race. Stay away from ANY"sport" fuel. I never have issues starting, engines last a long time, and it's super easy to tune with. I've also heard that Byron's Race Gen 2 is the best fuel their is, and I belive it. Unfortunately, none of my LHS' stock it, so I just stick to Nitrotane; I've heard from many thatNitrotane's the second best fuel anyhow.
