YES!!!
First plane was a COX STEE 2ch, COX .049, no throttle. After reaching the point that I thought I knew how to fly it, I decided it needed more power. Installed a .09 and away it went. FAST, and OUT OF control. Bag of balsa in less than 49 seconds. Learned alot from that one. That was in 1979. Have I crashed again, yes, several planes later I am still learning that the envelope is fun to push but there is always a price to be paid.
