Default RE: New e-Flite CP Pro 2

Guys,
If your CPP2 is acting strange, like motion you didn't ask for, check your blade dampeners.  My brother inherited my CPP2 the other day, and he discovered that after only a few hovers, the O-ring dampeners were badly worn.  And it required more shims too.  After he made the head stiffer with new O-rings and shims, he reported that the heli flew MUCH more stable, with no more side to side or bobbing up and down action.  There had only been about 40 minutes of flight on those original rings and shims.

I also had a really hard time moving the CG forward on the CPP2.  Could not get the battery forward enough and still get canopy on.

I think the stock gyro worked fine and was pleased with the tail action.

As far as blades go, I went straight for the Sym Carbon Fiber blades after tearing up the stock ones on my first encounter with a tree limb, and never had any more blade problems.  They are really tough and perform so well.

Cheers!
