I know this may sound too simple but it has been the cause of many engine problems being over diagnosed .Did you check the battery voltage after you ran the engine in the garrage ? No judgement of your skills here ,but we've all done something similar . If its not the battery posibly the switch has failed or something that was mounted or installed since the last time it ran correctly has effected it .
