yeah there are still big differences in between the retired 7.5 and the molds sold for the hurricane xl and xp. There were obvious changes so that it wasn't 100% a mp 7.5, such as being unable to upgrade your "hurricane" to a MP 7.5 Kanai III.

Other differences include the whole front suspension setup, you can't just swap parts either.
