I've been at it for 30 years now and I still love it.

I can't tell you how many people I have seen come and go in this hobby. ITs hundreds, if not thousands. All the time , I have people come up to me and introduce me to their families as the guy that taught them to fly back in the 1980's and I don't have a clue who some of them are.

Most folks are just in RC for a few years, stay less than 3 or 5 years.

I credit my own longevity in this hobby to, 1.) I'm pretty simple, and 2.) I'm a pretty slow learner
