For me the hardest part of the hobby is finding the time and money to enjoy it, I think that would be my downfall, I seem to only make it out to the field once or twice a month,  I really enjoy being out there and flying and talking to people, but it does get frustrating when I want to buy an airplane or an engine and I just can't justify spending the money .  I try to keep myself involved with fixing or modifing old planes and getting better at flying what I have.
