RE:
Dear Matt Andren,
I'm wondering whether the Toledo Special would, with its dihedral, moderate airfoil and quite conservative and traditional configuration, be a good choice as a first aileron plane?
Of course its not a trainer per se. I have learned on an Multiplex EasyStar, with a little extra instruction on a 40 size Sig Kadet, and have quite a bit of simulator time. I'm also a private pilot. I'd rather take the next step to the Toledo Special than to a bland 40 or 60 size trainer.
What do you think, could it be a reasonable 2nd plane after the EasyStar?
