The temp depends on the covering you have and since nobody (including you) knows what that is you will need to experiment. Start with a warm but not too hot setting in a not too visable area and work carefully on a seam area. See how it does. If it tacks the seam down it is OK, if not then raise the temp a little and try again. If you see any damage (melting) reduce the temp. Some temporary slight discoloration is normal in some brands and will usually go back when it cools. When you find the right temp for a given plane you could write it down somewhere. But remember that the temp that works on one plane may not be correct on the next. This is a learning experience and will take a bit of time.
